Pigeon Roost Farm

Pigeon Roost Farm will be open September 20th-October 31st, 2008, 10am - 7pm daily. There is no admission charge for the display and sales areas; and as always, we have plenty of free parking.

The "Great Pumpkin Fun Center" is a unique area to spend a few hours of family fun. Kids of all ages will enjoy visiting the animals and special activities, and challenging the 2008 Corn Maze. All the favorites are here: slides, tunnels, 'Black Mamba' swing, giant corn box and wooden train.

New in 2008

  • New in 'Great Pumpkin Fun Center' - Fort Spence, hay wagon with slide, airplane seesaw, teepee with cornstalk tunnel, 'duck' races, twisty snake seesaw and Paul Bunyan chair
  • Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins are available this year
  • New in 'Enchanted Forest' - Creepy Caterpillar, Lydia's Treehouse and circle tire swing
  • Tractor-drawn Wagon Rides on Weekends

The all-inclusive cost of the "Great Pumpkin Fun Center" and the 2008 Corn Maze is $4.00 per person.

On weekends: enjoy tractor-drawn wagon rides of the farm ($3.00); kids rides on Sadie, our miniature donkey ($3.00); and face painting ($1.00). Hot/cold food and ice cream prepared by Weldon's of Millersport. Kettle Korn is also available.

PUMPKINFEST WEEKENDS at PIGEON ROOST FARM

Weekends are special here at the farm with craftsmen exhibits and demonstrations, tractor rides, lots of good food, and many fun activities.

Sept. 20 - Sept. 21 - OPENING WEEKEND
Join us for our 28th season. Visit the animals and try all the new activities. Tractor-drawn wagon rides and Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins are new this year.
Oct. 4 - ANIMAL LOVERS SATURDAY
The Licking County Park District will have animals to see and information on all their special programs.
Capital Area Humane Society (CAHS) will have wonderful animals for adoption and information on their organization. Come and find an animal to share your life.
Oct.4 - Oct. 5 - SEE CRAFTMEN AT WORK
Mark Johnson - Wood turnings on an old-fashioned lathe with hit-and-miss engine. Bowls, plates, rolling pins, toys will be available for sale.
Oro Ray King - Well-known sculpture artist from the Buckeye Lake/Columbus area. Specializing in historic, archaeological and natural history exhibits. Come see the master sculptor at work.
