Pigeon Roost Farm

Since our children are such animal-lovers, animals have always been a big part of our lives. For us, it wouldn't be a farm without lots of furry and feathered friends! Pigeon Roost Farm is even named for the now-extinct Passenger Pigeon. This pigeon once roosted in large numbers in the woods that once stood in the swampy areas down the hills behind our barns.

Kids of all ages will feel like they walked into a farm storybook when they visit all the friendly farm animals. Lively goats frolic on "Billy Goat Hill" while chickens run everywhere. Sadie, our miniature donkey, gives rides on weekends; Bunnyville is home to fuzzy rabbits; turkeys gobble, while geese and ducks swim on the pond. There are also fancy pigeons and pheasants in the aviaries. We have over 100 animals here at the farm for you to visit and enjoy!

THE CAMELS ARE RETURNING!
Have you ever kissed a camel? This may be your chance! The camels were such a big hit last year, we persuaded them to come visit us again in the fall - thanks to their owners, the Mitchell family. Don't miss the chance to get 'up close and personal' with these amazing animals, and even take a ride! We'll list dates and times as finalized.
